Info: The road is in good shape. If you drive real careful you can actually get a passenger car all the way to the gate.

Info: road is dry all the way to the gate except for some wetness from the melting snow near the gate. This is of no concern. Be careful in low clearance vehicles on the last half mile as there are some small ruts/larger rocks in the road. I even saw a prius up near the gate, so any 2WD vehicles are fine.

Info: Ditto on the post before. Was up there today and made it to gate in my Jeep. Snow-free. I guess you could take a 2WD... passenger car possibly. There are places to park lower if you can't make it all the way. Kojones

Info: Road is in good shape all the way to the gate at 11,680. A little gummy about a half mile before that, but should be able to navigate even with a 2WD.

Info: Was able to drive my 4WD F150 up to 11,000 feet. There were two drifts that we were able to drive through. Other than that the road was mostly dirt all the way. From where we parked the snow got a lot deeper, quickly.

Info: I drove up fourmile creek to about a mile before the Leavick site, whereupon snow covered the road. There were tire tracks, so I decided to see if I could go a little further, and made it about another 1/2 mile before getting stuck (even with 4x4)..glad I brought the shovel!

Info: Was able to drive to the 11,300' parking area without any problems with snow, b/c there was none. Hiking up the road was mostly snow free up to the closed gate at the 4x4 road.
