Colorado Fourteeners Initiative The CFI is a partnership among nonprofit organizations, concerned individuals, and public agencies to protect and preserve the natural integrity of Colorado's Fourteeners through trail contruction/restoration, education and peak stewardship. The CFI has done trail work on many of our 14ers.
Rocky Mountain Field Institute RMFI has been working in concert with federal, state and local land management agencies since 1989 at locations in the Southern Rocky Mountains and Colorado Plateau to address critical land preservation and restoration needs. Most notably, they've spent a lot of time and resources doing work on trails leading The Crestones.
