 Sunset from Antero

Took a trip up Mt. Antero for a sunset photo shoot. The wildfires have been creating some intense colors in the evenings, so wanted to try and see what they looked like from up high.

Saw your name for this report and knew it wouldn't disappoint. Lovely shots as usual, Aaron! You display the best on a so-so mountain, and one that I would likely not repeat.

Yeah those animals are BIG!. I almost hit a bull elk on my way to the Longs ranger station a couple of years ago. He was coming down the road on my lane and I had to swerve to the left side to avoid him. It was dark and I didn't see him until the very last minute. Not a good way to begin a hike.
