From Denver, drive southwest on US-285 towards Pine Junction. 4.0 miles after Pine Junction turn right at a stop light and onto County Road 43A. It's approx. 8.8 miles to the trailhead: Drive 0.3 mile and merge onto Country Road 43 for the remainder. After 6.7 miles keep left at a Y junction. The road turns to dirt at 7.8 miles. Pass the Deer Creek Campground near 8.0 miles and continue 0.8 further to reach the trailhead.
