Info: Some big potholes and rocky parts but most vehicles with decent clearance should be fine. Bulldozer was parked in road, but didn't look like grading.

Info: Dry until the campground, then 1-2" of packed snow and some minor ice to the trailhead. Should be reachable in pretty much any vehicle still.

Info: Until more snow arrives, most vehicles can make it (saw a sedan at the trailhead). The last 0.8 miles after the campground has some ice and potholes currently.

Info: Not that bad. Easy dirt road till .8 miles from TH. Some potholes after that but I think most cars should be just fine making it.

Info: I was able to drive a Ford Focus (sedan) to the trailhead. I wouldn't want to do it if it rained any time recently and you need to pick your lines a little to avoid scraping rocks. There are numerous parking areas available further down the road before it gets rougher, starting around the Deer Creek Campground turn off, if you don't want to do some cautious driving with a sedan.
Any type of 4WD or 2WD higher clearance vehicle would have no issues and make it easily.

Info: Lots of potholes and uneven surfaces. Should be fine for 4wd/suv's. I think you could take a sedan up if it had reasonable clearance but you could scrap/hit some rocks if you didn't take good lines. I wouldn't want to drive up it in a sedan if it had been raining though.

Info: Road plowed to campground, unplowed beyond but doable. Managed to get to the trailhead in the morning by driving over tamped icy ruts and made it back down in the melted slush in the afternoon with no problems (Subaru Crosstrek).

Info: Summer conditions. One short snow mound to cross near the trailhead, AWD vehicles should have no problem.

Info: 10+ cars made it to upper trailhead, mix of 4wd and AWD. A bit of snow sliding needed but very doable

Info: Road is plowed until the Deer Creek Campground, and then we parked around .25-.5 miles after the CG. Any 4WD vehicle will not have a problem getting to the trailhead, as of now. There had been recent traffic as recent as today (1/20).

Info: There are still two small pesky, rutted snow/ice patches. There were a couple cars in addition to the 4wds at the TH and the patches looked negotiable.

Info: 4WD with clearance was necessary on Saturday 4/1. Fairly deep off-camber snow ruts were a sloppy mess in the afternoon on the exit. There was a Subaru Outback that was stuck and caused a 30 minute backup exiting while folks got them unstuck. I would not attempt this road with a Rav4 / CRV / Subaru until the end of April.

Info: Summer TH is still reachable, though I'd be weary of driving past campground without 4wd and clearance.

Info: Road to trailhead had a few inches of snow on it, but my Subaru outback did fine. Not sure I would try without decent tires. Few cars came in after me so I thought it would make the drive out easier, but I was still sliding around.

Info: Final portion of the road was snow-packed and slippery. A 2wd with good tires could make it.
