We climbed Horseshoe Mtn (via the Boudoir--cf. CR from 30 May 2015) and traversed to Peerless. Snow was crusty on the approach and windswept on the saddle--no snowshoes required before 10 AM. After glissading into the basin, we started postholing in soft snow and were thankful that we hauled up our snowshoes. Road snowed in to about 1.25 miles before Leavick. |
