Got Yale via the east ridge yesterday. We brought snow shoes but they weren't necessary, we never used them. Generally the snow was hard enough to walk on, or not too deep if you sunk ( although I did get turtled once) and could be avoided entirely if you so desired. All and all it was a beautiful day and the peak conditions were close to summer. |
