Spring is here...like it has been all year. Ah, well, who needs a seasonally-based excuse to host a fourteener get-together in the state capital?
Where: Cerebral Brewing, 1477 Monroe St, Denver, CO 80206*
When: Wednesday, April 29th, 6-9 p.m.
*Yes, it is right off Colfax, which is still under construction, but traffic through the area is flowing as well as could be since the project started. That said, it's advisable to take a route that stays off Colfax as much as possible and even more advisable still to park somewhere south of Colfax.
Looking forward to seeing all who will be able to join!

I'll be there! Moving for Foco to Denver next month.
Re: Denver Happy Hour - 4/29, Cerebral Brewing
It'll be good to catch up with you! We've had a few people move to Denver from other Happy Hour-having Front Range cities, and we've had a pretty good turnout overall the past few months, so there should be a good variety of new hiking partners for you to meet.AndrewJCraigie wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2026 11:16 am I'll be there! And for all those potential hiking partners: bump for next Wednesday!

I'm coming! Hopefully in a bright orange rain jacket bc we're finally getting some moisture.

I will be there!
Re: Denver Happy Hour - 4/29, Cerebral Brewing
Looking forward to seeing everyone!
I am also weirdly excited about the prospect of rain, even if it does mean needing to forego the patio. Hopefully I'll be bringing my own rain jacket, although my bright orange one is the lightweight one that lives in my hiking pack, so mine won't be as noticeable...but it will be fourteener-themed, if the weather prompts me to wear it!

Tonight! Bring those rain jackets just in case we want to sit on the patio anyway! J/k. Maybe.

I have claimed the open-est space currently available, which is outside, in front of and looker’s right of the entrance. We can always move inside if it gets too cold/rainy and a table opens up.

Yes, thank you to the planning committee!
Re: Denver Happy Hour - 4/29, Cerebral Brewing
Thanks to Jon, Andrew, and everyone else who came last night…and proved that Colorado mountain lovers are capable of handling whatever the weather has in tap! I’d hoped we’d either have warmth + a spot on the patio or that much-needed rain + a table inside, and instead, we had rain + patio.
Still a fun evening of chatting with new faces and old friends, and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
