Did anyone else catch a Brocken Spectre (aka Glory) in the Sawatch yesterday morning? I saw a few of them from near the summit of Mount Yale as the clouds were quickly moving by. Conditions were perfect for them!
Beautiful. I've never seen one. I was on Yale on Sunday as well.....I probably saw you.....I was on the summit around 10:15....missed the clouds for the most part. Great photo!

That last photo I posted was taken at 9:51am which was when I was on the way down the ridge from the summit, so we probably passed each other. I was the one stopping to take a lot of photos

Were you on the summit sleeping? I saw a man with a serious looking camera taking a nap on the summit. I think I was on the summit before 10:00....10:15 was probably when I was headed down. BTW...there were A LOT of people with cameras, so that's not the best identifier! It was a beautiful day!
Nope, that was not me. I was just using a smaller point & shoot camera and was certainly not sleeping (or even laying down) on the summit. It was an amazing morning, those are my favorite conditions in the mountains!
