A few details from that FB poster certainly could have helped with that mystery. what the heck? Glad the summit is still there, I guess.

It's still there, it's just crooked now :\

I saw that FB picture and it looked like it was still there... I mean if it wasn't, it would either be a ramp or a big gap.

Historically climbers have had to negotiate their way over a large boulder at the top of the Step. Last year (2016) it was a pretty easy snow climb; a non-event. There was a narrow spot at the base with a biggish snow-free rock that caused some traffic jams as people tried to pass there and found it very hard.
