I don't have words to describe my thoughts on another of Andrew's mind boggling feats in the mountains. So, I'll quote another well-known figure in the 14er community instead ...

This is truly incredible, amazing, astonishing, mind boggling, unbelievable. How can he do that route that fast? How? How?

Another huge accomplishment for Andrew! Great job, what a way to end the Summer! I am curious what he brought for food for this type of run? It would seem that quite a few calories would be needed. I imagine maybe a lot of powders that could be mixed into drinks?

andrewhamilton wrote:Well just as Tallgrass says, I went pretty light on food just using a high calorie powder that mixes with water. If you are hurting enough it will taste delicious, trust me!Last year I also didn't bring a sleeping bag I just figured that would be too comfortable. The one time I stopped to take a nap ,at the Avalanche TH, I was shivering after just a few minutes and couldn't fall asleep so I just decided to keep going. I was pretty lucky though I was not prepared for bad weather and I just happened to get the one weekend last September that was good weather.
