Seems appropriate today
Some day our kids will study Clash lyrics in school.

^^ Good ones, guys. Timely.
I'm hopelessly addicted to Sleep Token. The old stuff. The new stuff. It's all incredible.
I wanna be II when I grow up!

Seems appropriate for the time? Capt. Sub, is this more appropriate?

Re: Your Top 5 Bands and/or Musicians of all Time
Top 5 albums of 2025.
Tough choice. I thought it was a pretty good year for music.
2 of the bands have "new" in the name, maybe it subconsciously influenced me or something.
5) Wolf Alice - The Clearing. Very 70s influenced album, pretty schmaltzy, but I really enjoy it even though it's way overproduced. This band puts on such a great show live,
I've seen them at the Ogden before, and live shows on video many a time.
This one reminds me a bit of Queen and ELO:
4) Bask - The Turning. Stoner metal with a little prog and Appalachia mixed in.
The "hit":
3) Deep Sea Diver - Billboard Heart. This reminds me of classic rock of the 80s, stuff like Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms.
Stick around for this Lindsey Buckingham esque guitar -
2) NewDad - Altar - Great new band from Galway, Ireland a pretty small coastal city on the western side of the island that you should all check out sometime.
Could've gone with any of the first 4 tracks. Going with the first single:
1) Water From Your Eyes - It's a Beautiful Place. Can't really describe it, just have to check it out.
Playing Classics -
Oops, bonus track. Forgot the other "new", the "New Candys". Great shoegaze album!

This thread has strayed so far and yet it's back. I'll play.
I like this guy's videos. Hilariously weird.

This thread is bound for glory, this thread.
Edit: That dreadful feeling when after only a day you realize your post is not aging well at all.

Re: Your Top 5 Bands and/or Musicians of all Time
Dedicated to Supernihlist for his shitass response to my innocuous post on "best finds while hiking"
That animal looked poached.
He will deny it, but here you go. The most unwound, radical, TDS post ever:
I'VE GOT IT, MAN!
Who was president in 2022, man?
Joseph R. Biden, man.
This lion was skull fucked to death by Hunter's huge and intimidating slab of cockmeat on one of his Ukranian-funded coke binges, man.
And who covered it up, man?
Joseph. R. BIDEN. MAAAAAAN.
The files are all on Hunter's laptop, man.
RELEASE HUNTER'S LAPTOP, MAN!
Just asking questions, man.
