Hey everyone, I’m looking for a last minute partner to hit McDonald Peak in Montana this weekend. High point of the mission mountains. My previous partner bailed on me with less than a week notice. Looks like an amazing peak but too many reasons not to do it alone. I’m very experienced with mountains like this, I’ve done Rainier, Baker, Grand Teton, Shasta, Hood, Adams, Whitney, and many more all unguided C2C in one day.
Would also be open to hitting Gannett Peak in Wyoming. Looking for someone with as much or more experience than me.

Re: McDonald Peak Montana
McDonald Peak is on my list, but I can not do it this year. On another note, we just did Gannett on July 6, 2025 and it was in great shape. Here is my Strava for summit day, we did it over three days. 44 miles and 11k vertical gain. Good luck
