Greetings,
I’m humbly looking for a partner for the Audi Power of Four (or Two, if you’d like). I only know one other person with similar interests and he stated, “I’m just a recreational athlete now.” I figure 14ers or Mountain Project may be good places to find people with similar interests.
About Me:
I’ve been a long-time lurker in this forum. Over the past two decades, I’ve been entertained, enlightened, and occasionally saddened, but keep coming back to live vicariously through your pursuits. I’ve been a mountaineering dilettante for the past 12 years due to the life of a middle-aged person (marriage/parenting/a few degrees/my job/climbing partners experiencing the same). I have been assigned to a new position which frees up my three-day weekends for the next few years, lots of vacation days, and an understanding spouse. I’m planning to take an AVY 1 course this year and spend a few hours skinning and/or skate skiing in Eldora on Mondays. I live in NoCo.
I know it’s a big race and an even bigger ask, but figured I should try. Registration opens October 16th. PM me to discuss further.
