Aconcagua 2025

Post by Richjazz »

Hey everyone. I'm looking to find another person to hike Aconcagua in 2025. It would be great to find someone earlier to be able to put together a solid plan for logistics and make sure training is adequate. I am a 40 yr old female living in Lafayette CO. I have a decent amount of local alpine experience, a bit of alpine overseas experience in Nepal and New Zealand, and lots of rock climbing (trad mostly, now getting into more aid). Please reach out if you are in the area and would want to meet up to chat and see if it's something we could make work.

Not a climbing partner possibility but I’ll be making a return trip in 2026. Had terrible weather on the mountain and a bad illness before I left last year and never made it above base camp. Got a heli ride down, though.

Mendoza is a wonderful city and because my trip ended early I had lots of time to explore. If you want recommendations for food, lodging, or side excursions for before-after the trip feel free to PM me.

Best of luck!
