Handies peak trail from lake city
hello, im planning on making a night ascent up handies via the southwest slope to catch the sunrise from up top. I cant find too many good details about the route to the trailhead from lake city. Im mainly wondering how long the drive is to get to the trailhead so i can get my timing right, and if driving up AB road is doable in the dark (4wd jeep). Thanks in advance

As for driving in the dark, sure why not? I'd allow about 75 minutes or so from Lake City.
