Let’s be real tho, you may as well still climb Challenger since it’s the easiest way to Kit Carson and I assume most people will anyway.
Be the best you that you can be.

This is the best I could find in my photos from Niagara. Rock pile is very small/low. I don't recall any pile on Trinity, but have no photos. My vote is for Trinity to be #100, it is a way more interesting peak, but the alphabet will probably win.

Thanks! From this picture and from the lidar returns, Niagara seems like a fairly flat summit. There were quite a few points within a half foot of the highest point.

Trinity has a tighter grouping of higher points. This could indicate either a summit cairn area, or just a natural jutting high point. The best picture I could find of the Trinity high point is from this report. Can anyone confirm this is the high point of Trinity? If so, the small rocks are insignificant/within the error range, and the large rock beneath looks natural/undisturbed. These rocks might have not even been there when the lidar flight took place, and might or might not be there today. Larger cairns tend to persist longer, and would be a bigger issue.

I'll post this in the other thread as well.

Yeah, Niagara is fairly flat. My recollection of Trinity was a jumble of natural rocks. I found this photo on summitpost.

Prominence is the next ranking criterion after elevation, followed by isolation. While it's not the case here (or anywhere within the Cent list) using alphabetic order as one of the earlier ranking criterion wouldn't work when you have multiple unnamed peaks of the same elevation. For example, all peaks with an elevation of 13,300 feet in Colorado:

Trinity wins in the prominence department (Trinity: 945', Niagara: 587'), so you get your wish there!

Ah yes, that makes much more sense. And sweet, it looks like Trinity will be #100.
