Climbingcue Finishes the 58 14er List With A Winter Summit on Pikes Peak

Congratulations to Climbingcue (Bill Blank) on finishing his last official 14er summit for the 58 list yesterday on Pikes Peak! This finisher was made extra special by starting the hike on trail lit by a beautiful super full moon and blue skies on this winter day. And unlike a typical summer Saturday, there was no need for standing in line with drive-up tourists for photos by the official sign on the quiet, closed, and very windy/cold summit.

This 14er finisher for Climbingcue was actually Bill's 102nd 14er summit in Colorado and adds to his quest of climbing a 14er in every month, which he has done since March of 2018 (22 months straight)! He probably won't be retiring from climbing anytime soon as he has summited many 13ers and is working on climbing all the Centennial summits as well (22/100 to date). Of course, these are things you can do when you're Bill - who keeps his life as free as possible from pesky life responsibilities that get in the way of playing in the mountains and snow every weekend :P
