I'd say it's peaking now, but there should still be some good color next weekend as well. I was up on Hope Pass today, and that area is spectacular right now. There were a few spots that were in the early stages of turning, so the color should hang around for another week or two.jay_hawker wrote:Wow beautiful pictures!

Boreas Pass (between Como and Breckenridge) is at peak condition now (on the way we passed Kenosha Pass which was mobbed but seemed like a lot of it was already going bare). Mostly gold, a little orange and here and there a tiny spot of red. Also some halfway decent colors off of I70 passing Dillon/Silverthorne areas.

Spent yesterday and today in CB area. Here's what I saw:
- Crested Butte is almost at peak. I'd say 80%. Up Gothic was great. Taylor River area about 70%. Some green around town of CB and on the ski resort. Should be good through next week.
- Kebler and Ohio pass have a little ways to go. Only half way there. Probably peak in 7-10 days. Did Pass Creek trail today and great mix of green, gold and orange.
- Monarch pass is peaking.
- Kenosha looks at or past peak with a lot of leaves gone?! Seemed muted there. Next weekend might be too late for Kenosha.

I think the Aspen to Capitol area needs another week. Lots of green aspens, and only some color.

As of Sunday along US 550 north of Durango:
Around peak between Coal Bank and Red Mountain passes. North of Red Mountain Pass is around 60 % or so, should be peak in 3-4 days.
From what I can tell, it's about on par with previous years north of Red Mountain, early by about a week south of the pass.
Muted colors overall.

Just had some family make the trip from Montrose -> Ouray -> Durango and it looked like it is just about peak in that area, probably peaking this upcoming weekend.
Was out near Breck on Sunday and just from looking at the beginning of Boreas Pass it looked like it was about at peak as well.
