Ben Hope. Would have to start at the ocean to make the "3000' rule" :)
Elev: 3041 (Northern most 3000' peak in Scotland)
Prominence: 2,533 ft

When I took a somewhat random road trip in Northern Scotland I came across a sign that said "Ben Hope, Way Up" and I said "Why not".

Despite its elevation, this peak is very far north (as far North as Juneau Ak), so the terrain is like what you see above 12k in Colorado.

It was very hazy and warm, despite being early May so couldn't see very far, but still a real neat peak.

Oh, and even though it was only May, it was light out past 11 at night!

Bonus:

Actually a different area of Scotland, but thought I'd throw it in
