 Great Sand Dunes National Park
Although this is not a difficult hike I thought i would share the trip.

Started off the day at 7:30am and after a quick pork grinds and pork skins breakfast tostadas..... Ohhh yeah those are good.

We headed out to the Dunes. I really wanted to share this experience with Melissa (my daughter) so I decided to take her on my shoulders (forgot my baby carrier at home). I did get help from my friend Carlos for a part of the trek and we made it all the way up in a little bit over an hour.

Melissa did walk but only for about 30 feet hahahahaha

I really liked your trip report. Very heart warming. The 5th picture (daughter on daddy's shoulders walking out into the dunes) NEEDS to go up on your wall! Thank you for sharing your day with us.
