and I‘d say you made good time, too. 13555 doesn‘t get too many visitors. An ”A” for originality, and efficiency!

Point 12,915?
9/4/2009 6:49am
Nice route. How easy do you think it would be to add point 12,915 with Iron Nipple? What about skirting the west face of Iron Nipple to gain the south ridge of 12,915? Do you happen to have any photos of 12,915 from Iron Nipple?

PT 12915
9/4/2009 1:14pm
To obtain this summit from Iron Nipple would entail a 900‘ drop, so a hefty price to pay along a long planned route. To me it was a choice of coming up the ridge including Huerfanito vs. the ridge including PT 12915.
I posted an image to Mt Lindsey‘s ”More Photos” that shows the ridge from PT 12915 to Iron Nipple (taken next day on California Pk to PT 13660 ridge loop).

Cool route

I was there the day before to do Lindsey and couldn‘t help but notice (and wish I had the time/energy for) all the neat local terrain. What a beautiful place. I may have to go back just to explore more of the nooks and crannies the way you did...

Did you happen to get a shot of the ridge from 13,660 to Ellingwood?
