 Sniktau - a pleasant 1/2 day walk
Sniktau was a very pleasant morning stroll. My wife and I started up at around 8 AM. The trail is a bit steep and the first mile is pretty torn up by all the tourist traffic. By getting there before 10 AM you can avoid the crowds. After about 1 milt the trail to Sniktau splits off the continental divide trail. We shared the trail with only one other person on the way to the summit and saw only a few others as we returned. Like many trails that have heavy tourist traffic, the crowds do not seem to get much past the first mile.

The views of Grays and Torreys are magnificent.

Altogether, this was a very pleasant, short walk that will leave your afternoons open.
