Dead Dog Couloir - a little rocky in there
Beautiful day on Torreys. 1 Left TH at 5:30am and were about the 7th car. A few cars were parked all the way down at the bottom and were hiking up. Oh... there was a Land Rover Discovery down there as well... what the heck is that?!?!

Easy hike all the way to Torreys summit with little to no snow.

Dead Dog was heating up by 8:30 and sloughing off pretty hard by then. I would have absolutely preferred to be there an hour earlier.

Lots of rockfall was dotting the couloir, but still possible to pick a nice line.

Have fun up there!

Finished the day w/ a nice little mishap - my ski 'jumped up and bit me' on the wrist at the end of the run. The edge clipped my wrist and left him a quick trip to urgent care for 10 stitches. what luck?!
