Made it just to Willow Lake from the Crestone TH, and found a campsite about 1/2 mile from there just as the skies opened-up (again)

. There was some post holing just below the lake for the last mile or so. Two other guys were camped at the lake, soaked just like I was. Two other guys who left the TH early went on above the lake, not sure how high they went. It was so clouded-in I can‘t report much about conditions above the lake, except there was some fresh snow from all the precip.

Thanks for picking up our camera

Thanks again for picking up our camera. We made it to treeline and then called it a day. We hiked back down the trail to the first campsite we could find below the field of waterfalls. We are going to try again in late July, hopefully there isn‘t as much rain. Thanks again :D

Hopefully I‘ll get a chance to go back as well. I wasn‘t much further passed that exposed part, maybe another quarter mile. Glad I found you with the camera, have fun!

I love Willow Lake. If you‘re 0/4, perhaps you could schedule your attemts in July or August.
