 Longs - Nov 16
The weather looked great, so took off from Boulder at 1:30am Sat, departed trailhead at 3am, and hiked for just over 11 hours. Climbing was technical past the 'Keyhole', but for every section that I thought was impassable, there was a solution. Ended up summitting at 10:30. It was a beautiful day up there!

The wind at the Keyhole was gusting to 50mph, but West side traverse, including Narrows, Trough, and Headwall had moderate winds of 20mph.

Note - I didn't have crampons, but did rely heavily on the ice ax. I would highly recommend crampons. The Narrows had little snow or ice. The Headwall's ribbons of snow provided good footholds, but I thought it was hard going with or without crampons.
