 sweet revenge
It has been two years since I 1st tried this peak. I have thought ,many times,of how I would conquer this rock pile.
Drove up to TH, parked and hiked to around 13000‘ (the place I stopped before). Amazing how much further and steady one can go since putting down a 40 year smoking habit.(near 1 3/4 years).
The last 1000‘ on that talus was very difficult and taxing-----but success was mine. Teamed up with father / son from Oklahoma. Thunder started as we left the summit, got off the upper ridge , then side hilled back to lower trail (talus hoping)---stayed dry 8)
