 solo on sunshine
I climbed the northwest face of sunshine the 18th of may. Because i got a late start, and was too lazy to carry snowshoes, i was greeted my much postholing after the turn off up into silver creek. Because of this i ended up climbing a 13k point below the summit of redcloud and then traversing across scree to the saddle (miserable). Upon reaching the trail on the saddle, i made good time hiking across the ridge, and rather than climb the loose trail up to the summit of sunshine, i was able to climb solid snow from the low point in the ridge to the summit of sunshine.

I decended the correct route, and i was met with plenty more postholing, and cursed myself the entire time for not bringing my skis for the ski out to the turn off.
