 Fairview Peak - South Ridge

UTV to trailhead on south side of the peak, and we started hiking around 10am. From the trailhead the to the peak is about 1 mile, which took us around an hour and 15 minutes to summit. The trail is very steep nearer the trailhead, reaching a slope of 30%. Once we hit the switchbacks the terrain is less steep and mostly just a rock trail. Not a particularly dangerous hike, save some loose rock at the top; the main challenge is the steepness of the trail. Conditions were perfect; about 60F and sunny, without much wind.
