After completing the 14er "Grand Slam" in 2023, my wife and I decided to celebrate by taking the grand tour of the Maroon Bells/Snowmass wilderness, the iconic Four Pass Loop. We hiked the route counter-clockwise, taking our time and enjoying the spectacular sites for 4 days and 3 nights.
Here is a photo journal of our BACKPACK TRIP.
Two weeks later, I decided to return to the trail and RUN the loop. At 62 years old, I figured this may be my last chance!
