 6/5/05 Stewart Creek TH Route
Made the hike with no trouble. Roads were clear and well maintained, and the trail was clear until above treeline where the snow was hard packed. No postholing at all. 6.5 hours for the 12 miles. We saw Elk, Sheep, Deer, Beaver and Antelope. I have heard there are moose in the area so I was really hoping to see one, but no such luck. No one else was on the trail and the last 20 miles to get to the trailhead we didint see anyone. Remote is an accurate description of this mountain.
