 Bicentennials round 2

With the new bicentennials ranked I enjoyed hiking the couple I hadn't been to yet, revisiting another to tag the actual summit. Before I knew it there was already snow in the sawatch and i had yet to do the last remaining peak, west apostle. With that in mind I thought it'd be fun to wait until spring and try to ski it.

I couldn't find any beta on if it was skiable (has this been skied before?) but saw supranihilest's TR in May and thought it looked possible with the amount of snow that the face got, traversing down and across into the "apostle couloir" on the opposite side of the mountain.

4 - out of the couloir and onto the face, in the center of the photo there is a dip which required some side stepping to get out of

Time to add this to my ski list! And good reminder about the bicentennial list changing. Wild times.

How was the approach? Lake Ann trail or the Apostle Basin trail?
I've been thinking doing W.A. with snow would be a good way to get that summit.

the approach was fine, was able to drive to winfield, walked about 10 minutes and then continuous snow from there. supranihilist's trip report has the topo details for the route
