It qualifies as quite an excellent way of climbing a somewhat remote RMNP mountain via my indicated relaxing line. I highly recommend this chosen path. Upper difficulties are entirely manageable, also. Like many sections, they just require slightly more attention (i.e. loose rock, stay on proven path). Understand health-minded City-side training does certainly assist with completing the hike.
I never utilize, or rely upon, GPS. I contently, humbly made progress towards another goal again by dwindling remaining un-climbed ranked Front Range 13er peaks.

Please continue enjoying that Alpine Country mecca when you can. Hike safely. We truly are fortunate here. I will keep writing Beta and Trip Reports for others utilization, too.
Thank you kindly, folks

Great report with wonderful photographs.
Thanks for stirring up some memories of a 1988 hike to mt. Alice with the CMC.
It was a trip lead by Jennifer Sears and was great fun, especially for a relative new commer to the great outdoors of Colorado.
Did this one back in August and really loved the route. We descended boulder-grand pass. A classic peak in the park and one of my favorites. I will definitely be back! Hopefully the smoke haze wasn't too bad.
Cool. I had fun. Solid break from work I happily handle
