Tried from Silver Pick on 2/16. I was able to drive 5.1 miles then had to snowshoe from there. The snow was pretty deep; I was postholing about a foot deep on every step once I got onto forest land. The slabs were pretty unstable because of the high winds. I went for most of the day and never made it over the saddle so I just decided to head home and come back in the spring-time.
