Nicely done! Such a remote area, I camped just below the rock lake a few weeks before you guys were there and sadly without those delicious beverages in a Rock Lake cooler!
Great write up Ben, love it!
Hey Ben,
Hope you're well. I just snapped to the dates of your trip, turns out I was parked at Beartown on the 1st as well. Small world, no? Agreed, a very cool area, enjoyed your TR and pictures, as usual. Well done, congrats!
-Tom
Conners, forgot to tell you that I headlamp tagged you back once I reached the top of the abyss on the way out, but I think you had already zipped yourself back into your sleeping bag. Nice job on the write up. Enjoy the ski season.
Vadim, what Ben meant to say was "No Beer?!?!?!?!?!?      "
Well-written Trip Report too. Thanks so much for posting the quality 13er route beta. Excellent work with reaching all those cool San Juan peaks. Way to go on a big outing. Information regarding these more remote types of Colorado mountaineering lines is great having. Keep climbing safe, smart, and strong
jasayrevt - Thanks for the kind words good sir. We wouldn't have had such a productive trip if it weren't for all the beta provided by those who went before us. Just trying to help continue that evolution for those who go after us :P
how much climbing you can fit in just a few days. Very productive Labor Day weekend for you guys! Loved your route up Oso, we looked at it, but weren't sure it went. Oso was definitely feeling the love this summer - us, your group, Mahons, Vadim, anyone else?
We weren't 100% sure it went either, although Dillon continued to insist it did. Glad he was right.
Oso definitely was feeling the love. Bout time we all got in there I guess :P
