Bills report is great, https://www.14ers.com/route.php?route=bore1&type=13ers

This was a take 2 for me, last year I took both my dogs up this peak but they stopped at the first snow field after we gained the ridge, we were so close since all the hard work was done by that time! I went back with just my boy and took a new route and guess what we found mid way, cairns!!!! i have them marked im my GPS file, they really helped keep us out of the loose rock we were in last year after finding a path through the willows. this is a fast summit but was a good warm up for the first time out all season. Wish the wind was not so bad, would have been nice to hang out on top.

We took the gully between the 2 mounds, up the snow

there is a faint path in the rocks when you get out of the gully

the true summit is that mound in the back

Jack always beats me to the summit.
