 A hot day on Humboldt

Humbolt was a 14er I last did in 2010 but I had some fond memories of the route. I decided to take my friend Chris on this hike - he is moving to South Dakota and this was his LAST weekend in Colorado.

It was unusually hot and this lead to some problems for me- mainly being overdressed and running out of water.
But still, it was a nice day and I was glad to have lugged my DSLR up the mountain for this one. Many pics on the blog.
Lesson learned, no matter how many 14ers you have done, you still have to be dilligent about know well you prepare and know the weather forecast.
