Finally got back in to one of the more reclusive drainages in the Gores. Pretty unreal paradise. TR here - Bubble Lake 12ers

I'm glad you didn't invite me. Although I might be a gaper anyway...

Great photos. I'll be in there some day!

...there is NO way that shot with the fog over the lake is real!
Nevermind... I'm just jealous. Looks like a fun adventure into the ”G” zone!

I'm glad you guys finally made it there. Those are fun peaks, and such beautiful country. Humping a full overnight pack over Kneeknocker Pass must have been entertaining. Since all Gore peaks are rarely climbed, these are very rarely climbed since they are ”only” 12ers. Just one peak to go for Mike in Summit county now, his orphan from our Slate trip. Thanks for the report Brian!

Are you trying to trick me into driving up I-70 on a summer weekend? Well, it's working. Your photos make me feel like I've been wasting my life.

”Creek plus foliage plus jagged peaks minus gapers = Gores” The math checks out.

Thanks for posting!

Brian, your photos are so good that I don't even have to go there now. I can just recall my view down to Bubble Lake from above when did the Eagles Nest to Powell traverse, then convince myself from this report that I stood by the shore.

Nice work!

Missing report

Hey Brian...
I read this report last year, but am having trouble with the link. I made it up Black Creek this past weekend only to lose a boot and my snowshoes in a bushwhacking, creek-crossing melee. I got up Dwarf Pyramid, but had to bail on the other 3 without my boots and the ability to use my crampons. I'm going back soon to finish what I started and to look for my stuff. Wanted to see how you got up Peak I. Do you still have this report somewhere?

Thanks...Mike
