 Hourglass Couloir
Like seemingly half of 14ers.com, we headed up to Jackson to climb and ski over Memorial day weekend. On day one, we went for a Teton classic on Nez Perce. We did not summit, because we were after skiing more than climbing, but the route to the summit from the top of this couloir is a class 3/4 scramble from what I understand. Sitting across from the Grand and the Middle, this is a great area in the midst of the high peaks. For more: http://14erskiers.com/blog/2014/06/nez-perce-hourglass-couloir-5-25-14/

Weeks after, still amazed at how awesome the Tetons are. Thanks for more mountain porn. P.S. I wonder how many people know how to say Nez Perce?

I skied the east hourglass after dropping in from the sliver last month, and it was just as amazing as your pics. Glad to see there is still plenty of coverage up there!

Yeah, Nay Per Say still doesn't sound right, though I've been assured that it is. Lots of skiing to be done up there.

Both the Sliver and E hourglass are on the list now. I've even been having dreams of skiing Spoooky face now that I've looked at it. Too many lines, not enough time.

I did the Sliver a few years ago. A great line. So many great lines in the Tetons. Looks like a fun trip!
