 Grays and Torreys standard route

We took our 4-year-old son up Grays and Torrey's on August 15, 2004. Got a start around 8:00 and followed the standard route for the pair. Our son was in the toddler pack from the trailhead to the summit of Grays Peak. Then he was sick of the ride and hiked on his own for the remainder of the trek from Grays over to Torrey's and back and then all the way down to the car.

This was his first 14er experience. Not sure how to count this for him. Chalk one up for Torrey's for sure!

Here are some photo highlights of the trip:
Happy hiker boy.
Friendly local.
So now that I'm a pro, I've been thinking about Kilimanjaro...

Kind of cool to see the oldest one on here... interesting to think that your son is now likely 14.
