Kit Carson via the North Ridge
A video is worth 10,000 words. My YouTube video is of our accent up Kit Carson via the North Ridge then over to Challenger via the Kit Carson Avenue. It's difficult to see where the avenue is when going this route, and we totally overshot it by descending over 1,000 ft. to what we thought was the avenue. The video shows both the wrong and right avenues. The Go-Pro sometimes distorts the slope's angle, but it is a solid Class IV with exposure. I added some text narrative to the video explaining the different parts of the climb. I hope you enjoy it.
