 Longs-Cables Route
Keifer and Ryan joined me for an attempt on Cables Route on Longs. I had never done it before.

Moved a tad too slowly I guess and got to the base of the route by around noon or so and 3 guys on one rope slowed us even more. Long story short....we rapped off before we got to the summit.

I will be back in a few weeks to complete.

Look at the bright side. You get a winter ascent. Trust me, you'll look back on it and be grateful. :D

So, any more photos of the rock section? Any ice?

Now... I better not say anything about whether Old Man Winter cooperates over the next 10 days... XX (Fingers crossed.)

Looked like a typical cold day up there. Cables in winter is still on my short list. Enjoyed the slideshow by Monster5 as well.
