7/8/2022 Posted On: 7/8/2022 By: StewBe Info: Parking is no longer allowed at all at the Power Station. Several signs are posted that cars are not allowed to park at the power plant nor along the road. A large parking lot with bathrooms is at the bottom of the switchbacks along with a newer trail that leads up to the falls. There is limited parking at the falls, however, parking a car there all day might not be viewed unkindly. The negative part of about this cool trail with two falls not seen from the road is and added 800ft elevation and another approximate 1.2 miles to a hike if the goal is getting to the upper basins for the 13ers back there.

9/15/2015 Posted On: 9/17/2015 By: TallGrass Info: Road is fine for 4WD or AWD vehicles with decent clearance. Some were making 3-point turns at the switchbacks. Parking is sparse with only about three spaces by the mine switchback for the Via Ferrata unless you tandem park and a few by the power plant (don‘t block the gate or road). As it‘s one-way from the power plant on up, simply don‘t drive up anything you don‘t want to drive down.
