Driving Directions
From the town of Ridgway, take CO-62 west for approx. 5.5 miles. Turn left onto County Road (CR) 7 and drive about 9 miles to the trailhead. The dirt road follows the East Fork of Dallas Creek and is usually in good condition, although you may encounter rough sections. At 2.3 miles, the road forks—stay right to continue on CR 7. Just before the trailhead, an open meadow provides dispersed camping.

5/30/2005 Posted On: 5/30/2005 By: Nathan Hale Info: Drove up to camp near this trailhead on Friday, 5/27, and it was completely clear of snow and easily passable. There were some bumps on the road, especially near the end, but no worse than last year. Pretty much anything could get up there.
