Info: Feb 21 2009. The road leading up to Rocky Mtn Mennonite Camp is passable by any passenger car. From there to the trailhead I would recommend 4WD. Road leading to and the parking lot itself are completely covered in snow. We had an Xtera and were using 4-LO in 3rd gear. Expect a completely snow covered route from the Mennonite camp to the trailhead.

Info: Road is plowed to Rocky Mountain Camp. From there the final 1.5 miles to the TH requires 4WD on well packed snow/ice.

Info: They were still hauling trees away today (6-3-08) and the campground was closed. The person I talked to said it wouldn‘t be open through this week, but I didn‘t ask about the weekend.

Info: The road is clear all the way to the Crags campground, but the campground is closed due to "hazard tree removal." The alternate parking spot adds about .5 mile to the trip.

Info: The road is completely free of snow and passable by any car. Crags Campground itself is closed for tree fall mitigation, and not sure when it will reopen. There is parking about 500 feet before the entrance to the campground which I and many others used on Saturday.

Info: The road is open all the way to the campground, however the FS is doing some "tree maintenance", so the campground and clos in parking is not available. The road is probably passable in a higher clearance 2WD with some great care, but a 4WD would be recommended. It‘s pretty sloppy in the afternoon.

Info: Road is plowed past the campground, parking available 50 yards below the campground turnoff. 4WD not required, but snow-tires highly recommended.

Info: The dirt road off Hwy. 67 is still passable, though mostly snow covered (a few inches only). Cars have to be parked before the campground as it is closed for maintenance. That results in an extra walking distance of about 3/10 mile each way.

Info: Things are good to go here. A standard passenger car will make it just fine. You may need to slow down for a few potholes.

Info: My low Honda Accord made it. After the Menonite camp the road gets worse, lots of potholes and dips that I had to avoid.

Info: Yes road is dry and passable to the trailhead, just watch out for the big ass pothole about 75-80 yards from the TH goin in, it pretty much takes up the whole road, go slow and you'll be alright.
