5/1/2010 Posted On: 5/20/2010 By: San Juan Ron Info: The road is kept clear all winter and rarely will you have problems. As of late-April, CR-30 to Mill Creek was completely dry and the same goes for the Shelf Road up to Silver Creek/Grizzly Gulch. The SC/GG TH is around 5 miles beyond the Mill Creek campground via the Shelf Road.
5/26/2009 Posted On: 5/26/2009 By: Lyssah Info: Road is clear of snow all the way to the small parking lot, but is impossible to make without the aid of a 4WD. Due to the recent rain the entire road is one huge mudhole. My party left our civics at the start of 15-GG which is where the road gets impassable by 2WD.
