If you take the parallel road below (which many unfortunate souls did) it’s a very tough jeeping road! IF you get to the closed gate, you need to TURN AROUND and drive a quarter mile or so back, then take Road 2B up to the trailhead! That road is easy breezy | ||||

Was able to easily drive CR2 to the end of the tailings ponds. From there, almost completely continuous snow on CR2 up to the summer trailhead. Skied Dyer Mountain off the summit almost all the way back to my truck. | ||||

We thought that this was CR2B and so instead continued on the 4WD road which was probably the scariest part of the whole day. Don't make our mistake: If you see the gate, you have possibly missed the left turn off of CR2 and onto CR2B. Google Maps will take you the wrong way, don't trust it! | 1 |
