Made it to the trailhead in my low clearance 2WD hatchback with no problems, some segments had mild washboarding but nothing that couldn't be negotiated by taking it slow. There's ample room to pass on 99% of the road and I'm fairly confident nearly any passenger vehicle could make it to the trailhead.
