The road is in bad shape currently due to all the Wx. +1 difficulty to the bathroom due to ruts and talus encroachment. There were a few (nondescript crossover type) AWD's up there, with others parking down at the Governor junction. The morning's entertainment was watching a couple 4x4s (4Runner and a Wranglerish) square up on the washout just beyond the 11700' parking and then back down. It was early--I assume someone's making it up there today.
Once/if it dries out it should submit to UTV traffic in short order.
