Info: Summer conditions until close to the top, which is holding some snow. Most of the snow is probably avoidable, though I didn't try and trudged through it. It was at most ankle deep. Spikes were not necessary. The logs for the water crossings are in good shape. The west ridge looks pretty dry until the last push, though I didn't go that way to verify.

Info: Overall good conditions. Snow started to appear on the trail at 13,400, being just a few inches. Around 13,500 the snow became more widespread and knee deep postholing was possible - this was around 10am so an earlier start may have avoided this. Almost all of the snow is avoidable if you want to move from rock to rock but it definitely takes longer and is more tiring. Trail runners suited me just fine and I did not need microspikes or poles. A very beautiful and enjoyable hike.

Info: A few remaining snow patches and a small snow field coming up out of treeline. Easy to get around. Ridge is mostly dry with a few remaining snow patches as well. You could wear microspikes, but I didn't. Did not summit due to inclement weather, but made it up to 13,500. Definitely could have summitted if I got up 1.5 hours earlier. So that was my bad. Very straight forward route.

Info: Road was dry to the TH. The start of the trail was mostly melted out. Within a mile, we encountered thigh high snow drifts. Our group snowshoed a good section of the gully up into the basin. Thin snow covered the talus on the slope up to the east ridge. Large sections of the ridge were still completely covered.

Info: Marshall Pass is dry to the trailhead. The trail starts out dry for the first mile, the next half mile was patchy, unsupportable drifts that were no fun at all. Snow improves after that, and the East ridge is mostly dry. Despite some early potholing I stayed in trail runners all the way to the summit. Devils Armchair was a really fun ski! I took the most direct line, but there are still a few other continuous options. I kept skis on with a few short portages all the way down to snowline, but it was an isothermic mess in the trees. 4400', 7.5 miles, 5:15 RT.

Info: Parked at Grays Creek TH, skinned to tree line, then finished the east ridge to the summit in running shoes and micro spikes. No need for flotation higher up, most of the ridge is swept of any skiable snow. A little windy, but good conditions today. 8.62 miles/4,367' ascent. 6 hours, 30 minutes.

Info: A few places the trail still has a snow drift over it, but easily avoided -- no traction required. No issue with creek crossings in AM or PM.
